An Unforgettable Samurai Experience: Fun for the Whole Family!
At the Japan Tatedo Association, we pride ourselves on creating unforgettable samurai and ninja experiences for visitors of all ages. Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming a delightful family from America, who showed us just how enjoyable these activities can be for everyone, especially children.

この日はアメリカより、ご家族が体験に来てくださいました。
A Family Affair
This enthusiastic family arrived with their children, who were already brimming with excitement even before the session began. The children, who practice karate back home, were eager to dive into another aspect of Japanese culture. Their energy was infectious, and it was heartwarming to see their parents’ proud smiles as they watched their kids prepare for the experience.

Enthusiasm Meets Expertise
The session lasted 60 minutes and was filled with various activities that everyone could enjoy, regardless of their prior experience. The father, just as eager as his children, matched their enthusiasm step for step, while the mother displayed remarkable form and precision, impressing everyone with her natural talent.
体験は１時間。その時間の中で子供達や初心者の方もわかりやすく、楽しい稽古を行います。
お父様も子供たちに負けない熱心さで刀を振っておられました。
Watching this family, it was evident how much fun they were having. The children, in particular, were thrilled to practice battojutsu (drawing and sheathing the sword) and performed each move with impressive precision. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and we found ourselves just as entertained by their joy and determination.
抜刀と納刀は難しい所作ですが、みなさん熱心に練習されていました。
子供達の楽しむ姿が大人をもっと夢中にさせたのかもしれません。
Perfect for All Ages
One of the key takeaways from this session was that our samurai and ninja experiences are perfect for all ages. Whether you have a background in martial arts like these children or are entirely new to the practice, the activities are designed to be engaging and enjoyable for everyone.

Capturing the Moment
Throughout the session, the family enjoyed themselves as we took photos, capturing the joy and excitement of each moment. At the end of the experience, they had a wonderful time posing for commemorative photos, ensuring they had plenty of memories to take home. Additionally, we presented them with a video of their experience, a special memento to remind them of their unique adventure in Japan.
